Once the chalk paint was dry i wiped on annie sloan s white wax with a lint free cloth. Paint the entire mirror frame and make sure to properly cover any detailing or crevices.

Apply chalk paint to the mirror frame for a vintage look frame. Take your time while using the chalk paint to ensure that the frame is fully covered. Just go for it. The instructions just said to spray the mirror with window cleaner.

Use french linen to apply a wash over the white coat. Like i said i read online that we d be able to easily scrape off the chalk paint. Paint entire mirror frame 2 3 coats of white chalk paint allowing dry time between coats. For this mirror frame i went with a lighter blue annie sloan chalk paint in duck egg.

Chalk paint drys very quickly. I m not very handy with razor blades so i had my hubby scrape off the paint.
